The DepartmentThe Department of Performing Arts is at an exciting time in its growth. Increasing interdisciplinary collaboration, significant industry links, a burgeoning postgraduate portfolio and further development of its research culture mean you'll be entering into a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Your roleWith a good first degree in Dance, Movement or Choreography, you will have recent experience of successful teaching in HE. Contributing to the development and delivery of a range of modules across the department of Performing Arts, you'll have extensive knowledge and practical expertise in movement training for actors that reflects the principles of Dance UK's Healthier Dance Programme industry standards, or equivalent professional guidance. An excellent communicator and organiser, with an enthusiastic, student-centred approach, you'll be able to demonstrate an impressive research and/or scholarly profile and significant professional experience.
