The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) is the UK's independent regulator of fertility treatments and embryo research and the owner of the world's biggest database on patients, their treatments and outcomes.The purpose of these roles is to provide a multi-tiered support service from within the Compliance Business Support Team with specialist emphasis on the delivery of process and logistical support for the inspection programme and Compliance related projects. You will work in partnership with the inspection team to regulate HFEA licensed centres and promote good practice and compliance through: processing and assessing applications and other information using approved HFEA methodologies, making judgements on the information provided and recommending the course of action to be taken by the inspectorate, producing evidence based executive summaries and reports for Executive Licensing Panel and Licence Committee and supporting routine inspections and audits, travelling to licensed centres and carrying out tasks as directed by the Lead Inspector
You will have the opportunity to develop your inspection and auditing skills and increase your knowledge of regulation.
There are two full time posts being advertised, one is a permanent post and the other is a fixed term contract. These are band 2 roles with a salary of c£27k per annum.
