Salary: Grade 5 £22,971 - £27,428 p.a.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover for 6 months at 60% FTE (3 days per week).

We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our Finance and Research team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the SoGE financial accounts.
Under the direction of the Senior Finance and Research Officer you will be required to undertake a range of financial duties. The focus of the role is predominantly in the area of month-end and quarter-end financial review, and reporting both on core budgets and externally funded research projects.
You will need to have experience of working within a similar role; a good knowledge of financial administration; a high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office, and in particular Excel; accuracy and attention to detail; and an ability to manage your own workload. A good working knowledge of Oracle Financials and experience of working within higher education would be an advantage.
