Salary £18,000 to £23,000 per annum, dependent on experience
A fantastic KTP opportunity to gain industrial experience, chartered status* and work with the most innovative zinc die caster in the UK, potentially leading to full time employment with the company on completion of the contract.
The University is seeking to appoint a recent graduate under the KTP scheme, as follows:-
Project
- To increase the performance and reliability of Frech CNC die casting machines through application of Total Productive Maintenance, lean manufacturing and reliability techniques, Taguchi etc
- Based at PMS and reporting to Operations Director Mr Richard Moore (www.pmsdiecasting.co.uk)
- Mentoring support throughout project from University experts
- 2.1 Hons or Masters in an Engineering or technology degree with casting or manufacturing content
- Proactive self starter with hands-on approach
- Good communication skills including presentation, report writing and analysis
- Chartered Engineering and Chartered Management status opportunities*
- Formal training budget of £4000 and zero cost higher degree registration
- Industrial experience in a highly automated arena including robotics, CNC, pressure die casting, lean manufacturing techniques etc £18-23k salary for 24 months fixed term appointment
- Potential full time employment with company on successful completion of KTP
