The roleYou will have the chance to teach at Masters level on an exciting new course in a fast-expanding discipline. The MRes Art: Exhibition Studies course gives students the opportunity to engage in art historical research from the perspective of contemporary art exhibitions, their display and other curatorial strategies. As a Lecturer, you will teach and provide students with academic and pastoral support, while continuing your research in the subject. We will expect you to contribute to curriculum development; lesson planning; assessments; course review; and unit management, while handling course-related administration. This role also offers the opportunity to work with the internationally respected research and publishing group, Afterall; specifically its Exhibition Histories project.   
Your profileA postgraduate with a qualification in Fine Art, Art Theory, Art History or similar, you have taught in the field of contemporary art. You have wide knowledge of the subject as well as the ability to act as a tutor. You are ready to support the Pathway Leader, handle administration, build links with relevant external organisations and work with other staff to give students an outstanding education. Motivated and enthusiastic about your subject and the new course, you will be up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, and an expert on the history of exhibitions.
