£24,520 - £30,122 per annum
The Graduate School is an institution-wide development hub that works to provide leadership and professional support for academic schools in the pursuit of graduate education. The Graduate School has developed a strong reputation for the quality of its services and training provision. You will lead, develop, run and manage our training programmes for research degrees students and for early career research staff, sustaining our track record of excellence. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the training programmes meet researchers' needs within the national and international context of researcher development.
Educated to degree standard and with a qualification in training and development you will have excellent communication, presentation and group facilitation skills. You will also demonstrate a commitment to your own development. You should be IT literate, have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure demonstrating a pro-active approach.
This post will require flexible working including evenings, occasional weekends and travel within the UK.
